Our Halloween adventure continued this weekend with a visit to the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center for their Halloween festival – ArBOOretum. We have never been to the arboretum before, so this was a new adventure for all of us.
The hay bale maze was a piece of cake for our little adventurer – she didn’t hesitate at all.
They had a petting zoo with large and small goats, rabbits, chicks, chickens, ducks, turtles, and a tortoise.
It was one of the best we have visited.
Of course, a moon bounce…
Through the Trick-or-Treat Trail, the kids had to perform tasks to get their candy. They were meant to be learning experiences about native Texas animals. The only one that Grace could really do, was this one to catch the “flying insect (velcro ball)” with the mitts, as a nighthawk would catch its prey. She missed ever time. 🙂
