Bouncy Ball Painting
This is just like marble painting, but I had bouncy balls on hand… and Bouncy ball starts with “b.” I started by dripping several drops of paint on a circle of paper in a 9 inch circle cake pan.
These are toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubes that decorated with a little bit of washi tape, which I got on clearance at Michael’s, and with magnets hot glued to them. The hot glue was the second try – the first was with glue dots and that failed immediately.
Grace zeroed in on this project as we came downstairs that morning. We couldn’t even have breakfast until she played with it a little bit. She likes dropping the balls from the high ones and seeing them pop out of the bottom. She even has gotten into moving the tubes around and watching the magnets stick to each other.
This was purely for fun. I put Dawn dish soap in the bottom of the pool before I filled it up. The watering can and the airplane were Grace additions – I realize that they don’t start with b.
Do I even need to say that she enjoyed it?
Grace loves to paint. Yes, she looks at me like I am insane every time that I introduce a new medium or material to use as a “paint brush.” This time we used water balloons to stamp the paint on the paper.
